You Were Made for This.
Purpose is calling, and there’s no time to waste.
Hey Triumpher,
It’s Tim here again! And let’s talk about purpose.
There’s something about purpose that demands urgency—not panic, not pressure, but divine urgency. That pull to live with purpose and make each moment count is a wake-up call that reminds us we were made on purpose, for a purpose, by a purposeful God.
This week, we were reminded of this powerful truth: We are not aimless wanderers trying to figure life out. We're not here by accident. God created us with a divine assignment tied to His greater purpose for us. We were made for intimacy with God, to reflect His glory, and to reconcile others to Him (2 Corinthians 5:15, 18). Our lives are about more than just us; we are a vital part of His grand, redemptive plan.
Even when we face pain, something we naturally try to avoid, God uses it to refine and position us (Romans 5:3-4). Trials aren't pointless, in God's hands, they serve a deeper purpose, shaping us into the image of Christ and equipping us to fulfill our divine calling. So, when you're walking through a tough season, remember: God is at work, even in the mess, and all things work together for your good.
But purpose doesn't just end with a divine calling; it also requires focus. Life's distractions are real, and we have to fight to keep our attention on what matters. We must stay rooted in God's Word and set up accountability structures to help us remain grounded (Hebrews 10:24–25). Hey! You're on a mission, so don't let the busyness of life steal your focus. Stay centered on your calling.
And lastly, as reminded in John 9:4, there's an urgency to the mission. Time isn't just passing by; it's moving toward the return of our King. Every day matters, so don't waste a moment.
Dear Triumpher , you were created to reflect God, relate with Him, and reconcile others to Him. Live like it, boldly, joyfully, urgently.
Have a purpose-filled weekend!
Cheering you on always,
Tim.
