T30for30

A Lesson on Consistency

Hey there,

How have you been?

First off, happy new week to you and a massive congratulations on making it to the 47th week of the year!

Maybe it’s just me but this year seemed to have gone by so quickly! Didn’t we all scream ‘happy new year!’ some months back? Whoa!

Anyways, as they say, time flies. Speaking of which, how have you done so far with the #t30for30 challenge?

We’re currently on Day 28 with only three days left in the challenge. See how far we’ve come!

This challenge has been filled with many interesting days, like Day 14: Take a break from social media. Welp, not gonna lie, that was quite difficult but thank God for God! Also, I’m judging you if you didn’t observe the challenge on that day, lol.

I’ve learnt so much from this challenge. I’ve learnt the importance of writing down the instructions I receive in the place of prayer (Day 2), I’ve learnt the calming effect that comes with just sitting in silence and meditating on God’s word (Day 15), but most importantly, I’ve learnt the power of consistency.

Consistency in time past has been defined by many to mean many things, but I like to think of consistency in a more practical way.

Consider your dental hygiene for a minute and picture a day where you forget to brush your teeth before leaving home. Chances are, you’d go about that day feeling bad and lacking in confidence.

Does that therefore mean you shouldn’t brush your teeth the next day?

More so, if you set out to brush your teeth everyday this year and miss a day or two, you’d still wake up and brush your teeth the next day, right?

Often times, when we set out to achieve a goal, the mistake we make is after one, or two, or even three relapses, we give up entirely on the goal. This ought not be the case.

Consistency is measured over a period of time and this holds true for various aspects of our lives and not just for the #t30for30 challenge. As you go about your business this new week, I want you to do so with this consciousness.

Consistency is measured over a period of time and this holds true for various aspects of our lives and not just for this #t30for30 challenge.

Tim

The good news is this; it’s not too late to practice this lesson on consistency with the #t30for30 challenge. We have three days left until the end!

You can still join in and make the most of it.

Here's a rundown of everything we've done so far:

One last thing. . .

Remember, as Christians, we ought not walk this walk of faith in isolation. We’re called to commune and fellowship with one another.

On that note, I implore you to join us in prayers today and every other day of the week on our YouTube channel (Triumph 30 Live).

Time is: 6:00 AM, 12:00 PM & 8:00 PM WAT || 7:00 AM, 3:00 PM & 9:00 PM EST.

If you haven’t already, you can subscribe with the button below and please turn on the post notification bell so you can be reminded when we’re praying.

Still feeling unmotivated to keep going with the challenge? Check out this post on Insta. It’ll give you a boost!

That’ll be all from my desk for now. I pray you have an incredible week filled with joy and testimonies of God’s goodness towards you!

Cheers,

Tim.
