Embracing the true gospel of Christ

Hey Triumpher!

I reckon it’s been a minute since you last heard from me. . . I know, I know, I’ve been very inconsistent and I apologize 🥺

But I’m back now! So grab your Bible and dive into the Word with me.

This week, we did an exploratory study of the Gospel, which is the heart of our Christian journey. When it comes to the Gospel there’s no middle ground, no half-truths, just pure, unfiltered truth (Galatians 1:8-9).

As believers, it’s up to us to learn, grow, and bring the true Gospel into every part of our world. But here’s the twist, it’s not just about what we preach, but why we do it because God cares deeply about our motives behind the message (Philippians 1:15).

Love is the core of the Gospel, so our sharing must be filled with love.

Let’s remember, those we speak to might not share our level of spiritual insight. That’s why we need to pray for the power of God’s word to illuminate their hearts, for their eyes to be opened and for their hearts to be receptive to the Gospel.

Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT

We’re called to live a bold and radical life of faith, showing God’s purpose through our actions, just like Jesus did. Let’s be a shining example and influence the world around us with the true Gospel.

Our approach should be filled with urgency, priority, and boldness (Mark 16:15).

Here are some prayer points from this week to continue praying and confessing.

  • Father, grant me the words to boldly proclaim the Gospel (Ephesians 6:19).

  • Lord, help me discern and maintain the right motives in my walk with You (Philippians 1:15).

  • Father, as I preach the Gospel, let darkness be expelled from the hearts of unbelievers (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Keep pressing forward, loving deeply, declaring the Gospel boldly, and shining brightly.

Enjoy your weekend.

Tim ✌
