Life with God.

Things pertaining to life and godliness.

Hey there!

It's Tim once again bringing you a recap of our devotionals.

Have you ever asked yourself what life is all about? With all the beauty, complexities, technology, and knowledge that surrounds us, what does it all amount to? If you have, you're in the right place because we'll be looking at just that!

Money is one of the most important things we need in life on Earth. The world's current system is run by it, and it will be of our benefit to have it, but Money isn't what life is all about. Money is a great resource but shouldn't have our entire affection and pursuit. (Luke 12:15).

The same goes for popularity as well as the affection and approval of men. It's a fantastic feeling to be liked by people and praised by them, but things take a wrong turn when we begin to put it at the forefront of our minds and hearts. (Galatians 1:10). Whatever popularity or visibility we have with men should be to the glory and propagation of God and the gospel. (Matt. 5:16)

We must understand that we have been accepted into God's family—a much greater status than the fickleness of man's approval—and seen as God's beloved. Sometimes, that may be lonely in a world that constantly seeks the validation of crowds, but we know that we have a much greater inheritance in God's love.

Real joy comes from walking in purpose and seeking the glory and pleasure of God daily (Luke 1:74–75). Chasing happiness is a feeling that can change at any time, but it only leaves us empty. Jesus' example was that of sacrifice, discipline, and a consistent desire to do God's will (Mark 15:17).

Even as life has its secular areas, like our careers and jobs, God is still involved. God will have us prosper in our endeavors. As believers, our careers are vehicles to the fulfillment of purpose. At the center of all that we do should be God. God and his purpose should be our priority in life. Our lives should revolve around God so that God is glorified even in seemingly little things.

Dear Triumpher, Life has so many areas, some overwhelming and others filled with glamour, but our highest priority must be seeking God daily and doing His will for our lives.

Till the next one,

Tim.
