Trumpher, Discover the Truth About Christianity Here!
Do you know that the entirety of scripture is a message of salvation?
Hello Triumpher!
Did you miss me? As usual, I’m back in your inbox with exciting updates on all that has happened this week on your favourite devotional platform, Triumph30.
Ready? Set? Let’s dive in!
Jesus is the central theme of the Bible, and this week we explored how Jewish practices serve as types and shadows, pointing to Christ and God's salvation plan through Him.
In Circumcision, the removal of the foreskin signified the removal of sin from the heart of a believer in Christ, because true circumcision is in the heart (Romans 2: 29). For water baptism, we acknowledged that it was only done by John to find Christ and portray a picture of Salvation, on which we died with Christ, were buried with him, and now, we have eternal life in Him. True baptism is made possible by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3: 11, Acts 1: 5).
We discovered that Jesus is our Passover, offering salvation and protection. Holy Communion symbolises His sacrifice, emphasising our participation through faith (John 6:53-57). Recognising that we are temples of God, we understand that wherever God resides is His temple. In the New Testament, Christ is revealed as our ultimate Sabbath, providing believers with perfect and eternal rest.
This week, as we continued in the 40 days of Prophetic prayer and meditation, we learnt about prophetic imagination. To engage in prophetic imagination, we first have to acknowledge the Lordship of God as He is the one who drafts the blueprint of our life. Only then can we begin to brood over His plan and walk in it.
We learned key principles for our life journey: contentment, detachment from worldly things, seeking confirmation from God, and boldly carrying out His plans. Additionally, we discovered the importance of consistency in God's presence, illustrated by Aaron's rod budding supernaturally in Numbers 17:8.
God's presence is our natural habitat, bringing out the best in us. Just as Aaron's rod flourished in God's presence, so will our lives when we dwell there consistently. We also concluded the week with a prophetic instruction to visit strategic places, as doing so will cement God's promises in our hearts.
As we end the previous week at Triumph30, remember that scripture is about salvation through Jesus Christ. Embrace true circumcision of the heart, baptism by the Holy Spirit, and find eternal rest in Christ.
Go forth and conquer!
Till the next one,
Tim. 😎
