A New Month, A Wiser You!

Can you believe we’re already stepping into the third month of the year; the last month of the first quarter? It feels like the perfect time to pause, breathe, and lean into God’s wisdom as we move forward.

It’s Tim here again! And as we wrapped up February’s teaching on love (and wow, what a ride!), one thing stood out so clearly: love thrives on wisdom. 

Proverbs 4:7 (NLT) “Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.” This isn’t just good advice; it’s a life principle. Wisdom shapes how we love, how we choose, and how we grow in our relationships. When we walk circumspectly (Ephesians 5:15-16), our relationships testify to God’s love, which is selfless, pure, and rooted in truth.

Looking ahead, be reminded that godly love calls for preparation and intentionality. Remember, the goal isn’t just to find the right person but to become the right person. And when it comes to setting boundaries, please know that God doesn’t give us boundaries as barriers to our happiness but rather, they’re safeguards for it. 

In handling conflict, we must approach disagreements with love, guard your heart against bitterness, and always choose forgiveness. Remember, the goal isn’t to win an argument, it’s to build a relationship that mirrors Christ’s love.

So as we step into this new month, let’s choose wisdom. Let’s pursue godly relationships and love as Christ loves us. There’s so much ahead, the year has only just begun, and I’m so excited for all God has in store for you this month.
