A month of Rejoicing!

Saved, sealed, and sent.

Hi Triumpher,

Let me start by saying: Happy New Month!

Welcome to the month of May. I hope this month brings you lots of joy, laughter, and peace.

This week, we concluded our devotional series on the Gospel by learning to celebrate both the assurance of eternal life and the responsibility it places on us as believers.

The gift of eternal life through Christ should evoke joy and endless celebration in us. The death, burial, resurrection, and glorification of Jesus have given us something to shout about — eternal life! And our response to this glorious gift should be continual rejoicing in the provisions of Christ.

The Bible is clear about the standard for salvation and the guarantee of eternal life (John 3:16; 1 John 5:11-13). The moment we believed, God sealed us with the Holy Spirit—the guarantee of the eternal life we received. We can be confident in our salvation because the One who called us is faithful and able to keep us to the very end. God wants us to live freely and boldly in the peace and assurance that righteousness brings (Isaiah 32:17).

What Jesus did on the cross — His death, resurrection, and glorification — gave us something priceless, something precious, something far more valuable than gold. And that alone is enough reason to live joyfully. So rejoice, and keep rejoicing!

Triumpher, I want you to walk in this consciousness all through the coming week. I want you to stay hopefully, stay joyful, and most importantly, stay loud about Jesus.

I hope you have a great week ahead!

Till the next one.

Tim.
